As usual, during this Poli-Ticks season I'm avoiding TV news and talking heads and looking for something funny instead.

So much stuff on TV really isn't funny, but Two and A Half Men is HILARIOUS. I just started watching it a few months ago, and every time I do I'm guaranteed to LMAO. :D (Ch 2, 6-7pm M-F)

Love Malcolm in The Middle re-runs, too.

What's your favorite sitcom?

How I met your mother

yup, probably the only recent sitcom that I really got into.

I only watched through season two, cause I am obsessive compulsive and cant watch them out of order.

funny thing is when I was in germany, my german friends introduced me to that show, ha. I returned the favor by sending the first two season on (official) dvd for them...

how many seasons are on dvd now?

I have no idea what season it is right now but this is the best season yet, I think. Wait till you see "Slapsgiving" :D

This is the only sitcom I get into anymore. I can't believe more people don't watch it.

It's completed season three, but unsure if it's coming back for another season. I definitely haven't seen them all, so i'm debating picking up the DVD set...

I LMAO'd I think it was last week at How I Met Your Mother when it ended with Barney (Doogie Howser) typing in his diary ala the end of every Doogie Howser episode, even had the old Doogie Howser music going too.

Yep. I love Two and a Half Men. The best episode was the one where Charlie started dating a witch. When his mother came in at the end and they knew each other... I was laughing so hard I had a serious side-ache the next day.

King of Queens one of my favorites, Frasier.

Buddy of mine from college feels the same way...his reason is that the show lasted longer than the war.

Only episode I ever liked was about that damn festivus pole. Outside of that Jerry Seinfeld sucks as a comedian.

Family Guy
Reno 911
Married with Children
That damned show on VH1 with Flavor Flav is the funnah!

Hell I dont watch enough actual television to remember much.....

....That damned show on VH1 with Flavor Flav is the funnah....It's like a train wreck, I know better but I still watch it every season. Remember the girl that pooped on the way up the staircase? :spit: :lmao: :lmao: Sooooo ghetto!!

And worse yet is the show Bad Girls. Another show where you feel like you need a shower afterwards. :D

Here is Tanesha gently awakening her roommates up with her sweet voice after they'd kept her up all night (I'm going to find a way to save this as a sound file on my cell phone!)

Well, I have to agree his voice is pretty bad...but he always makes me laugh. I loved all the characters on Seinfeld. Fraser was great too, even though I didn't like Kelsey Grammer too much. I don't usually like Charlie Sheeen either, but in Two and a half men he's hilarious.

**When and where can I catch How I met Your Mother? I can't seem to find it on my Comcast line-up.

I don't think How I Met Your Mother has a lot of repeats yet, and I'm pretty sure it's not syndicated anywhere.

They always have some pretty hot women, funny jokes, and for some reason, Judith kind-of does it for me.

so I cant wait for 3 to come out on disc. I can guarantee that for a week when I get season 3, nobody will see me anywhere but where I need to be.

I can only imagine slapsgiving, especially after slapbet, haha.

I love marathoning that show. I loved season one. season two collectively was not as good as season 1, but a couple shows REALLY shined. the episode when barney does his own play made me about piss myself. MOIST. MOIST. MOIST...
hahahaha.

EDIT: although I must say, when HIMYM had britney on, I just about cried. why would they put that peice of shit on any show? I will probably skip that episode on the dvd...
