Best Springtime trail

I am looking for a trail that will provide the best views and vistas for Springtime. Don't mind some difficulty, but am more interested in the views to be found and Spring blooms.
So, which trail and when is the best time to run it? Chime in and give me some ideas.

How far are you looking to travel?

Still in Co would be best. If the travel would require an overnight, that would not be out of the question.

Not really spring, but Ouray in July is hard to beat for views and blooms. Schofield Pass also has tons of flowers on the Gothic side during a wet year, though with all the snow, it will probably be late into the year before you can drive all the way over it.
