What?s funny is the guy made a full write up with pictures in case anyone else wanted to make them. I think he needs a gate latch and one of these gate springs to hold it closed, these added with a quality cedar stain would finish it of nicely

Well you never know maybe he really didnt have the money for them and needed some half doors bad. I would have painted them Black at least. But maybe he'll sand them off really nice and add a wood stainer and brass fixtures....

hahahaha

Hey people wheel what ever they got too. Back in Guatemala Ive seen some guys lifting Vitaras, CRV's and how the hell knows what else.

Perhaps he has a pet chicken that tags along now and then. Wouldn't want it to get out. I'm sure a half door would effectively contain it.

I don't understand half-doors anyway. If I can take the doors off, I want it OPEN. I don't even like running around with the soft top flapped back, except for maybe a couple months on either end of summer.

That said, if you think you need some sort of vestigial partition against your left leg, why not wood? maybe my red neck is showing, but it appears to me that those do more than the wee todded safari doors, and look every bit as... existent.

I can see having something there, made of steel, just to keep a rock or tree from intruding into the compartment and hurting you in a flop. Wood isnt gonna cut it.

Thanks, now it all makes sense. I looked them up and their company slogan is, "If you must wear dreadlocks, this is the suspension for you." With major distributors like Wild Oats (now part of Whole Foods/MILF central) how can they go wrong?
