Not true. Just not the stuff most people listen to you.
And may I add: "...This is the song that never endddddds, yes it goes on and on my frienddddddddds. Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was. And they'll continue singing it forever just because this is the song that never endsssssssssss, yes it goes on and on my friendssssss..."

Crackin Rose, You've Got to Me and Girl You'll Be a Woman Soon are about ALL I can tolerate from Diamond.
The Beatles, the Stones, and the Dead. I dont understand the following of Jerry Garcia..... I've tried, I've really tried to get into the Dead's music. I have a shitload of it on vinyl, never listen to it.

That just ain't right, not the Meatloaf cd. Just the 1 cd in general you need to get out more Oscar. I guess it could be worse if your one cd was Doris Day or something, at least you have good taste in the ONE cd you do have. lol
I probably have 500
Leon Phelps
March 11th, 2008, 11:34 AM
one point I was at about 700 or so, in cd count. Currently at about 300-350 cd's. Another 300-400 records, primarily 78's but a few DJ singles and party mixes on 45's

You are too strict on yer musical standards. Open up yer mind MP. Consider the possibilities. Music comes in a wide range of genres that are equally capable of touching the human spirit and elevating our beings to a higher plane. 'Cept for rap - that stuff just sucks.

Because I don't like people who don't do what I tell them. Lyrics like "4th Reich culture, Americana" just piss me off. They're like Al Sharpton with guitars and drums. The problem is, an entire generation of impressionable youngster listen to crap like that and think that's how it is.

Yep. Have XM in the tow rig. It's nice to listen to one station with the music you like no matter where you are without having to listen to commercials. Nothing like loading the EB on the trailer, hooking it to the truck, cranking up the XM, turning the climate control on the setting the cruise at 5 mph above the speed limit - including through the mountains. :D

In the work van I rock XM, Ipod, and Pandora.com off the laptop through the speakers. I also am one of the only guys that have put in a after market deck and 10 inch sub in my work van. I hate commercials, and I hate hearing the same songs all day. I'm like MP I listen to everything, right now Kid Frost is on XM.

Pandora.com at the office. In the TJ, my new radio has a USB port in the faceplate. Loaded up half a dozen 2Gb memory cards with the music I like, Oldies, Classical, Classic Country, Jazz, etc, plug in a card reader, and voila--MY music w/o commercial interruption and w/o a monthly fee.
EDIT: SWMBO loves Willie Nelson. One 2Gb card is ALL Willie--495 tunes. We listened to it for 3 full days on our road trip to CA last November. After that it was over 30 days before she asked for Willie again! :D
