Just woundering if there are any of you that are in the woodland park divide area? I saw a really sweet RC at the parts store yesterday. Would like to get out and meet some of the locals and do some mild wheeling soon.

Just north of Divide on CR51. out towards the LVR ranch. I heard that it is in pretty bad shape. I remember traveling it several years ago in my old citation, Now i guess its hard for the trail rigs. I dont know without driving there and looking. what about the gulches are thay suppost to open this year? (Hackett,Longwater) I know thay were closed because of the fire, and that is all i know. I have heard that there to open back up but dont know when.

Alot of roads and trails that were open before Hayman have been closed and may never reopen. I used to be able to get anywhere between the springs and Divide on a trail. Not that way anymore. There are just a few routes that will get you from one to the other now.
I'm not sure when Hackett and longwater will open.

I have family up that way and plan on moving back up there this summer. Graduated from WPHS so pretty familiar with the area... haven't been down by Turkey Creek for awhile now.

never made it to Turkey creek, However I turned in on PHantom creek and damb The burban that I was with was pushing snow with the bumper. He was chained up and I was not. Good thing to we almost made it to the parking area, Decided to turn around and do some shooting. Took some pics and cleaned up the mess. We forgot targets but thankfuly I had my old hat on my head. So I walked out there in over knee deep snow and walah!!! we have a target! after all was said and done I now have a 60 dollar ball cap. I am thinking that I just might be onto something here with all the wholes in it. Kinda like the kids and there wholey paints that I would not give 2 cents for. I am going to replace the strap on the back side and i now have a daily wearing hat. :D I snaped a few pics with the cell phone so once i get into cell range i will post them here and let you all see some of my free to me toy at play. any way bye for now.
