His back surgery that he's been waiting on. Goes in Monday I think.


BTW, he said yesterday that he got Mongo fired up so I'm guessing that means he's hoping to be able to drive is soon & I hope so too.

Thanks Guys, mucho appreciated. Yes Mondays the day, hopefully it goes better than today did lol. My luck has been crap lately, Made a run out to Core to pick up my camping trailer and get it back here to the house, before Im on the disabled list, got almost home with it, and burned up and outer, rear bearing on the 60 in the tow rig, welded the outer race to the spindle etc, yall know the routine :D So POS and My better half brought out my tools, and new bearings races etc. Got it put back together before darkthirty, and made it on in to the house. Its not right, but it made it back, had to reuse the inner, since we didnt have any way to smooth out the spindle enough to slip the old one off, and the new one on...

I am home, operation went well, however there was no way they were letting me go until today, they had me pumped way full of dilaudid, and it wasnt cutting it, so I got to spend the night, and most of today there with the little button being pushed as often as it would let me:drool: Now home, full of vicodin, and some other interesting things:D And Im not hurting to badly at the moment. Hard to be certain, but appears to have done some good, as I dont have the burning in the right leg anymore, tho the doc says that may be due to the meds also, said it will be a couple of weeks for the nerves to heal up good. Says it went really well, and the nerve roots that were impacted by the discs, are now free of pressure. Might be as good as almost new:D

I have my cane, but mainly for balance right now, doc says things look good in there now, after the sawzall work. should be good to go by end of July, sooner if I am lucky, and careful. damn sure hurtin right now tho, cutting thru back muscles is so not fun, and theres 2 incisions, since they did 2 levels. Jeff tell your sister thanks for the big monkey, and sorry I wasnt more communicative when she visited.

Thanks. things are doin much better now, healing up nicely. Will be awhile before I know if the surgery worked like its supposed to, but at least the surgical stuff Is healing :D
