What's the one song that tears your heart out? The one that leaves you crying in your beer?

You're Breakin' My Heart by Harry Nilsson. :flipoff2:
You're breakin' my heart
You're tearin' it apart
So ***** you
All I want to do
Is have a good time
Now I'm blue
You wanna boogaloo
Run down to Tramps
Have a dance or two--ooh!
You're breaking my heart
You're tearin' it apart
But ***** you
You're breakin' my heart
You're tearin' it apart
Ooh!--ooh!--
You stepped on my ass
You're breaking my glasses too
You wanna drive my car
Buy a lot of stuff
I've had enough
Of you--ooh!
I'm goin' insane
There's no one to blame
So ***** you
You've gotta have your way
There's nothin' left to say
There's nothin' left to do--ooh!
You're breakin' my heart
You're tearin' it apart
So ***** you
You've gotta have your way
There's nothin' left to say
There's nothin' left to do--ooh!
You're breakin' my heart
You're tearin' it apart
But I love you

Some country should be banned.
Alyssa Lies is one of them.
And that one about the soldier coming home in a box. I don't know who sings it but that song pisses me off.

I'll put this link up, but only with a warning that IT IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.
This is some incredibly sad stuff. It's about child abuse. If you don't want to cry and feel miserable, it's probably best not to watch it.
The song is called "Dear Mr. Jesus" and deals with child abuse.
It will make you cry. It will make you angry.

Makes me want to play guitar (still no dexterity, though).
I got to hear Eric Tessmer play that in a little dive in Austin last year. I think that kid's the love child of Hendrix and SRV.

I, too, have to put a vote in for Garth's "The Dance". My Dad listened to it a lot after my parent's divorce, and it always kinda time warps me back to that time.

Ok so Weird Al isn't my choice..
I lost some great friends in the last 2 years or so... Sucked..
The first one is my buddy that died of Brain Cancer at the ripe old age of 33
He wasn't big on religon but this was played as we layed him to rest.

A year later I had a great friend take his own life for reasons I'll never know. This was the last song he put on his Myspace page the day before.. (he was only 22)

Ben Folds Five...I think the song is called BRICK, it is about him and his girlfriend, they go and get an abortion and are both pretty wrecked afterwards, and this song captures the mood.
Its a true story about the lead singer, he and his girlfriend actually did do that.
It gets me sad and angry at the same time to think that people would kill their own children....at least in the song he concedes to some feelings of regret...

Its extremely difficult for me to listen to anything Metallica. Metallica was my lil bro's favorite band, I played it at his funeral. I just really can't deal with any song by them anymore without turning into a faucet.
Love me when I'm gone = Three Doors Down - same reason, reminds me of Chuck.
Lay me down= Tim McGraw
and I'll admit... the Star Spangled Banner often brings a tear to the eye. This country has gone through so much, and to think of what that song ment over 200 year ago and still rings true today. WOW.
see, i'm a sap at heart.
