And its already been taken apart!! Well, i finally got my first string of mods done to my new 07. Removed all the safety stickers, krylon fusioned the windscreen, proton front flushmounts, CA integrated rears and my own custom fender eliminator.

Here you can see pretty much stock. The wind screen was done and it was de stickered.

REALLY happy with how everything turned out! The Protons fit and look great and a freakin BRIGHT!!! Way brighter than i thought they were going to be but definetly a good thing! The CA rear fit in there great too and really cleans up the back alot. Not sure if i like where the plates mounted...might have some tweaking to do with it but as it sits, its functional. I hit some pretty wicked speed bumps with it this afternoon to make sure it wasnt going to cause any rear tire interference and it was fine. Might leave it...might not...time will tell. As for whats next, well....exhaust probably. The stock one is drilled and sounds fairly good but it looks pretty goofy without all the fender crap on the rear. Not sure what i want for it yet. Also looking for some decent tank protection. Dont want to go with Stompgrip cuz i HATE the look of them but i need something that is a little larger than your average tank pad cuz i seem to rub alot of the tank....

Like my custom 3M packaging tape paint protection system?? :flipoff2: Its only temporary till i find something that i like so i dont trash the paint.

Looks good. Makes me want to dump my other projects and start working on getting mine back together, especially with the nice weather we had last Saturday.

Removed all the safety stickers

...can I ask: how?

I've realized that every time I look down at my crotch my bike doesn't need to remind me that I could die on it, especially if I'm drunk.

Trying to peel 'em only seems to chip them a bunch. Anything I can use to get rid of the residue, especially on the plastic fairings on the front?

Heating them up a little with a heat gun helps them to be pliable and come off in more of one piece. I just warm em up a bit and use my fingernails. Dont worry about the sticky crap left over...Oops or Goo Gone removes that in a hurry!

Welcome to ownin a bike that will scare the living crap out of you everytime you ride it :D

You might want to go the route i took with my cbr and the tank. i got a half-height black tank bra. it covers the entire bottom section of it and looks pretty good. http://www.sumoweezle.net/images/sumo1.jpg
