Does any one have a wheely king set up as a crawler? I am thinking about getting one, but i want to see how well they do and such. Any one:shrug:

They can be very good but you will need to change a few things. Consider the new Axial RTR. Not sure on a release date though.

yea, i was looking into one of those, but i went with the WK and found some good, cheap ways to do some crawler mods :) So after spending about $35 last night, and another $25 tonight, i will have a HPI stage 1 crawler with a new crawl motor.

I started with a Wheely King. If I did it all over again, I'd go with an Axial. Better axles, better tranny configuration, and you get to choose your own electronics. The stock WK is kinda' crappy, but it does come with everything you need. Just insert batteries, and go. Out of all my WK parts, the only ones I'm still using are the tranny and axles. If you are going to build a crawler out of it, the Axial is a better platform.
