there will be some heavy hiters on this from areas other then our own.
who here knows hydrology really well?
would anyone be willing to look up newspaper info for me. specifically i do remember seeing a couple differant aticles in the last year one i know was in the camera and they both said that there were no problems with both lefthand and st vrain but did have problems on boulder and some others.
resent water quality studies by outside sourses is what is desperatly needed/ other groups have bought/brought their own. we might concider it. it late notice and cast something.
sediment. what is it how does it move and what does it do in carnage as verses areas not used for travel
more to come but this tops the list please help.

for the rest of you,

riddle me this:
why is it the the fs comes into this area in 1906 or later and then takes over roads that were in existance for 30 years prior to the fs?

why should they be the ones decideing what happens on these roads?

thats funny ! cuase from what i understand there is a pot of money at the end of travel rainbow. so what desissions they make they have funds to implament.

so they could keep carnage open, or replace it elsewhere with a trail designed and engineered to satisfy the demand and yet not have what ever the down side is to carnage.

the hope would be that part of what we ask for in this process is money for these folks to get folks to go out in the field and hang there and do those things nessesary. in other words put some butts in the seats of those trucks and get em to where the public needs em.

does anyone know of areas that would offer the challange and such of carnage and yet not be in a creek bed?? i believe the fs when they say that they would love to build us a site better suited for our needs.or improve carnage to where they dont have the sediment trama.

suggestions???????

they mentioned that at the meeting, and even the greeneies would support that, but i just cant think of an area that would suit us. they kept mentioning the area out by DIA.

Can anyone tell me exactly what time and where the meeting will be? I haven't been paying attention lately, so if there was a post I missed it. If there is a post still I am just blind.

VB - Can you update your first post with Times/Location/addresses of the meetings on the 29th & 3rd? It'll be easier for people to find that info & then get there.
