These are the two I'm stuck on...they're basically the same, but I can't decide!

I like B. I have that watch in silver and it is a really nice watch.

I like the rectangular face better. I use 2 different watches regularly and both are rectangular.

That is all.

Sorry, based on previous responses, I imagine this is not helping you decide.

:flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Personally I'd go with the square faced one.

I never wear my nice watch anymore, too nice to get grease all over it.

B) But then I have not worn a watch in over 15 years. I hate them things.

Neither?

I have to admit that I'm something of a watch aficionado. Ever since the summer I worked in a jewelry that sold some of the world's best watches, I've always lusted after beautiful and functional watches. Couldn't afford them, of course! But lusted after them anyway.

A traditional looking watch, of timeless design (okay, hold the jokes!), just oozes class as far as I'm concerned. These watches that you've picked, I'm sorry to say, would tell me that you're trying to be hip and stylish, even at the cost of any real substance.

Go for a quality Seiko, Bulova, or Tag Heur if you can afford it. Victorinox (the guys who make Swiss Army Knives) makes some pretty good watches nowadays, too. Or, if you can REALLY afford it, you could of course go for a Patek Philipe or Rolex. If money is an issue, then a traditional looking Timex will do the job.

All in all, though, I would say that Seiko probably is the best balance between quality, classic style, and price in today's market.

I personaly like the clean look. My budget is about a hundred bucks so I can't go for anything else really. There were a few Seikos that I saw that I liked and could actually afford, but I really like the all black look.

OR! What else would you guys recommend? Within my budget. It doesn't have to be all black either.

Go to a Fossil retail store and look and see for yourself what they have. I have two myself, a more dressy one i wear when i dress semi-nice and a titanium chronograph one i wear almost every day. They do make some VERY nice watches and are probably the nicest ones youll find under 100 bucks. Shop around though...they do have several watches that dont scream..."gay pretty boy" :flipoff2:

Wow, you and I have one more thing in common. I have expensive taste in watches, but just can't even afford a semi nice watch.

I agree with the above statement.

If I have to chose one of the above, I would go with A.

Get something that'll last. Mine just finally disintegrated after 12 years (longest ever before was 2 months) - case got torn up enough that the band couldn't stay on. It still keeps time, though.

If you want a black watch, I recommend this one. The Sinn 103 St Sta.

Whats wrong with the clock in your phone that is synced to an atomic clock? Or are you one of those people that does not carry a cell phone?

A vintage Rolex 5513 "No date" Submariner has always been on my short list of watches to buy. They are bullet proof and damn good looking too.

Check Overstock.com, they have a lot of mens watches for good prices. Stick with a known brand, Seiko, etc. Do some research on line about the watch first, it is hard to judge quality from a picture. I am not a big fan of the all black either, but I prefer a round face.

I wear this watch as my all black watch and it has a black face as well. . .I have about ten watches and most all are Fossil! How can you beat an 11 year warranty for around 100$ Most of the $$$ watches have only a 3 year waranty!! ;)
