Well my original battery has finally died. 2002 Harley Fat boy. Do I really have to buy a Harley battery at $91, or is there something else more cost effective?

not that I know jack about harleys but 12volts is 12 volts... find one that fits your battery box and go for it...

go to checker or vatozone, or wherever, take the old one with ya so you can make sure the new one fits.

Heh...you too huh??
Went to start my bike this afternoon...whirr whirr whii....click click click. FAWK. Took it to Checker, they tested it and sure enough, had a bad cell. A new one cost 35 bucks...Honda wanted 145
But X2 on calling some autopart stores. They should have one that will cross reference that will work just fine.
