Was at Copper on sunday and can't say it was anything special. Packed powder. Now last friday (the first) was incredible. Nobody there and knee deep powder as far as the eye could see. Made fresh tracks all morning.
Heading up to Steamboat end of this month. Save some of the pow for the rest of us :D

I was at Monarch from friday to sunday. That place is sick. Join our crew man! I'm trying to throw together a Wolf Creek trip March 15/16/17 and if we have 9 people lodging will be $20 a night and tickets will be 144 per person for 3 days. A cabin with plenty of sleeping room, a full kitchen, and 10 minutes or so from the hill.

My sn there is Mr. Right and I have a half decent little Colorado crew going there.
And I'm at Loveland a few days a week generally

wolf creek has been amazing this year, so much freakin snow up on the mountains. we have 10 more inches to go to hit our annual snowfall of 465", we haven't even hit March or April yet! so far i've been up 23 times. its going to be a nice backcountry summer here.
if you guys need any info on the area let me know.

What bothers me is the Post already ran a story about when the resorts are going to be closing. I hate early Easter years.

I miss Pagosa. What a great place to live. And if you ask me, Wolf Creek has the best terrain in Colorado, but there are still a couple mountains I haven't hit. Does that lodging offer stand for everyone haha? I still have a few friends I've kept contact with down there, maybe I'll hit em up and we'll all go ride. All my buddies that turned down the Monarch trip to save for Wolf Creek bitched out at the last minute and kind of left me high and dry.

I might be getting a new job soon here so we'll see what happens, if I do shoot down it'll be for the local appreciation day at the end of March. Thanks for the offer, I'll keep you posted, if I do head down I'll bring plenty of the beverage of your choice. Is the 19th hole still the 19th hole or did it change names AGAIN? I liked that bar, some decent pool players and I got a lot of free drinks there as well. Gotta see if I can look up my buddy Todd.
