Eric,

As discussed in this thread: http://www.colorado4x4.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=004023

What are the possibilities of getting a buyer/seller feedback forum?

It is a feature that is on several of the sites I vivist and works very well. Cuts down on the bad deals and what not and makes it very easy for others to do a quiock check on someone before completing a deal with them.

The way it works at other sites is to have a forum for this. Users can create a feedback thread for themselves or for someone else and after deals are completed folks leave feedback.

An example is here: http://www.pbnation.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=193

How about a vote?

This seems to work on other sites but that is no guarantee that it would work here. The main work would be on the Moderators to differentiate between legitimate problems and just plain bitching. Some of the topics regarding shops/sellers and their practices turn into pages and pages of simple bitching and others jumping on the bash bandwagon, only to be deleted a few days later.

from Tiff's post in CHit-Chat:
Vote, hopefully Eric will follow whatever the masses say on this one. This vote should show Eric what people think, but I don't think the members vote should be the end all final word. ("letting the inmates run the asylum"). Remember we are guests here and Eric and the Mods have the final say. We may not like it but who gets everything they want in life.

I was not saying whatever the vote shows should go, I meant I hope that Eric will use that in his decision process.

This is Eric's site, so he has the final say.

I like the idea. I just saw another post in Chit Chat which I'll consider another vote in favor of the suggestion. I'll include this when we change BB software (which is finally in the release candidate phase) as we'll be expanding the whole For Sale section at that time.
