It was "free day" at the Zoo on Saturday. It was just a coincidence for us though, as we knew the weather was going to be nice, and we wanted to take Natalie...

Helped me decide that a 50-200 will probably be enough additional zoom for me for awhile. Probably pick one up next month. First one will be a Sigma (budgetary need) to really determine if it is enough.

Nice shots Chester. Makes me wanna head to the zoo. BTW I love my Sigma lense. It has become my go-to lense no matter what shooting situation I'm in.

Sigma makes some damn fine lenses and it alot of cases, their equivalents to camera specific lenses are often better..and cheaper!!

If you can afford it, go straight to the 300. I have a 70-200 and more often than not I wish I had just a *little* more.

I'd like to be a little taller too, but my height works for me. ;)

I don't think the 70-300 is doable right now, though I would love to.

I can get Sigma lenses pretty reasonable if you know exactly what you are looking for PM it to me.
