View Full Version : T&T Customs Toob FenderZ

RockYacht
April 16th, 2004, 04:15 AM
Got a prototype set done this week for CJ models, these are full replacement bolt-on fenders, paint them and install them with common hand tools - no cutting / grinding / welding.

The test mule in the photos has our front shock hoops and brace installed. Production FenderZ will not have the cutouts for the hoop brace, unless requested.

We will be looking for another CJ to verify fitment on in the near future, as well as a couple of YJs to do prototype and fitment checks on. Stay tuned for your chance at some discounted parts, for being a T&T Customs (http://www.tntcustoms.com) tester.

Also looking for feedback on this design.

Thanks, Bob

Sorry for no responses lately, we've been really busy and out of town.

This week we will be finishing up all the details for the CJ FenderZ and should be ready to take orders by next week. Please bear with us as we get this going.

YJ FenderZ will be next and then we will tackle the TJs. Note to all you TJ guys the TJ version will be a bolt on, as far as the fender goes, but you're on your own for all the stuff that bolts to the fenders... In other words read the fine print, "some modification required for proper installation"

UPDATE: CJ FenderZ are ready to go. I've got 4 pair all mocked up, just need finish welding and some clean up work. Pics/Prices will be up soon.

With that said, we are about 2 weeks out from needing a YJ or 2. Wallysheata, BFJ93YJ and blackyj you have mail.

Folks in the TJ crowd hang in there, you are next up after the YJ prototype work.

UPDATE II: Final price on the CJ FenderZ will be $395.00 per pair unpainted + shipping. Our site will be updated soon... YJ FenderZ will be priced the same. I am currently in need of 2 beta testers for our CJ Fenderz, Longboy, Pioneer and Sprnklrmn you have mail.

Thanks for your patience, Bob

Bob, nice work.

Longboy told me to check out your work since you are doing his cage. I know exactly what you mean about the TJ tube fenders. After looking at a TJs front fenders I saw why PSC decided to do what they do. The TJ fenders have a LOT of stuff attached to them and the fenders have a bunch of structural integrity to them, unlike the CJ/YJ ones. I have done two sets of the TJ ones so far and it is much easier and stronger to leave the inner fender in place.

Anyway, keep up the great work!

Hey Bob, here is a pic of mine as it stands right now. But within the next month or two I will be mounting my 9" and 44 under it, 2 1/2" springs SOA on 36" swampers. But before it goes under the knife it I will be throwing on a custom paint job. And just to add that it is much easier to work on a vehicle that is a little closer to the ground than it is to get accurate messurments on a monster sized vehicle ;) .

Thanks Zach, we don't believe in the hack and whack approach...

Our FenderZ are a complete bolt-on replacement - including new inner fenderwells and mounts for all the accessories. Yes it's more difficult, but we believe it's the only solution so as to not compramize the structural intergrity of the fender and it's the only way to make a fender that will stand up to some serious use.

I have the whole YJ TnT line.. ( Tube Fenders, Rockers, Rear Comp cut fenders) They work really well and look sweet? I?m not sure and Bob can clear this up but I think he is only going to do Cj,Yj & Tj on a custom only base?.. There is a lot of work that is needed just to put the tube fenders and making everything fit right?. Plus he can cut things on a CNC and that make all the difference in how they come out? Very clean?

If anyone has any question or would like to check them out just let me know?
