I have a 1994 F350 that has some extremely minor bubbles and rust appearing around the rear fenderwells. What is the best way to get this under control and repaired before it becomes a cancer spot?
Recommendations on good shops that can do this? Or is this something that I can do in my driveway?
Please advise,
Chris

It's likely coming from the inside, can you look at the back of the panel? There are some stop rust products, but I don't know the BEST thing to do.

There's nothing minor about bubbles, especially on a wheel well where the rust starts from behind.

Understood, but I have already taken a good look around and there is not cancerous rust in the area, it does not appear to be starting from behind.
I just want to get it fixed before it gets any worse.
Recommendations?

I would think you'll have to sand it down until the rust is gone and repaint, but I'm not a body man.

You are dead on. The oxides need to be completely removed to stop the propogation of rust. I think am going to use the POR-15 products to fix this area.
I was merely asking my question to see what everyones past experience has been; recommendations on methodology, products to use, etc.
As an example:
Perhaps someone had the same condition as I, sanded down the area, prime/paint it and it ended up getting worse, not better because they didn't prep the area good enough and use the proper sealants/paints.

Chris
