I usually drive my rig to the trail but this year I need to tow it to Moab for EJS.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to rent a car hauler-trailer?

u-haul has full size car carrier trailers, with lightweight aluminium decks

I don't know if I could actually trust a U-haul trailer to go that far. I have literally seen them driving down the road with the wheels wobbling and leaning. I cannot imagine them checking and maintaining wheel bearings, nor brakes on those trailers at all.

most of the places that sell trailers also rent them in my area. might be the same on the front range. generally $45-$60 a day. Much better equipment andceaper than u-haul.

In september I looked at renting a car trailer to tow my rig to moab, and if i remember correctly the only place I trusted to have a decent trailer to rent from was in parker. However it cost 75 dollars a day, and I needed it for 5 days.....You do the math....save your dough and buy one. there are several inexpensive dual axle dual brake set ups around for a good price.

That was my experience as well. Got tired of towing the Mustang around from body shop to cage builder, and spending a wad to rent it for 4 days..... ended up just buying one. Craigslist is usually dirt cheap to find one, MUST move quick though.

Longmont Uhaul on main st. has real car haulers for like $40-45 a day.....although it might already be rented out for EJS by now. I know it's not close but it's cheap.

Trying to rent suck's.
Took the "buying" advise. I picked up an 18' car hauler in perfect condition off of craigslist for $1200.:D

 I did the same thing a little more than a year ago. Got a 16' for 900 bucks. So far I'm two tires and a spindle into it. Been a worth while investment.
