Anyone flown one of these and can compare it to a Havoc? Price looks right...

I got a Reflex for christmas...once you get the controls down and how it manuvers, its the best fun you can have for 50 bucks!!

Is the reflex the same style? I have a Havoc that I have fun with, now I want more control.

The reflex gives your forward, back, left and right controls as well as a very refined and controlable throttle control for elevation changes and offeres much more flyablity over the havok. Its overall a little bigger and a little more durable.

I saw those at Target a couple of weeks ago. Main difference being that they have two extra vertically mounted props for fwd/rev and R/L control. I didn't get one though. We got my nephew a Havoc instead (it's what he wanted).

The Mosquito V2 is suposed to be a bit better than the first like Radio Shack has. It is WAY better than the Havoc.

Just so ya know. Micro Center sells the V1 MM. They did have them on sale at X-mass for $19 I think. The also had the Larger Lama V3 for 59.99. it was $160. I'm sure prices are back to reg. though.

Don't bother with the Reflex. I had one & it SUCKS for manuverability. It uses two little fans to rotate for Left & right & forward & backward.. It's very slow using this method. The two my dad & I had developed very bad Toilet Bowl effect making them VERY hard to fly. It is also very hard to get spare parts for.

The MM will speed up of slow down one set of rotors spinning the thing around. The MM has a little horizontal prop pushing the tail up or down resulting in forward & backward flight.

If you want real indoor fun & very small though. You have to step up to the Walkera 5#6 or 5G6. They are real RC so you get the good with the bad. More spare parts are needed & you can fiddle with them more than fly. Not always though. I've had lots of fun with my 5#6's.
