R/C Osprey

Got to thinking about the Osprey today and did some quick searching. This guy built one (http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/gallery/4794/), but I didn't see any evidence of the engines rotating into a standard airplane configuration... :(

First, holy crappy video quality batman!

Second, I wouldn't think it would be that hard to make it rotate...though the transition from vertical to horizontal might be a little scary with an RC version.

It isn't scary with the real one? Don't they still have a crash problem? :D

I flew an R/C version, on the sim. :D

looks like the worst of both worlds to me, choppers, and planes. Im thinking that will get expensive to repair:D
