This weight loss thing has be in a quandary. I need a new dress shirt, preferably tonight, in a 16-1/2, 36/37. Two obvious places I hit already (K&G and Casual Male XL) are out. CMXL sizing starts at 18. Uggh.

Men's Warehouse has a wide variety of sizes. I'd try there. (I'm not tall and skinny, but that's my two cents :D )

I've gotten some tall stuff at Kohls and Pennys. I gave up the neck and sleeve measurements when I quit wearing suits, but they've both got tall sizes that have the extra length in the sleeves and tails. I used to have a 17" neck, and the LT sizes in most shirts fit just a little snug. They might do you just fine.

How tall is tall? I am 6"6" and I wear can get my shirts off the rack. Polo and BR tends to fits well. For pants Carhartts, and online Gap, BR,

I am just 6'2", but it's the skinny part that is throwing things off (in the dress shirt world anyway).

I'm pretty sure Men's Warehouse will have dress shirts in that size. They list them on their website. I buy all my dress shirts there, very happy with them.
They have some wrinkle free shirts there that are *amazing*. Throw them in the dryer, take them out, and they look like they were starched and pressed professionally, with nice sharp creases and all. Highly recommended for the lazy professional :D
Call 'em and ask.

Thanks Jake, I'll go check it out tonight. Be a good way to start saving on the cleaning bill.

Do you really wear a 37? That's way harder to find than 36. 34 is a dime a dozen, 36's are a little rarer, but 37 is a much tougher row to hoe.
Enro is a brand has great dress shirts in long sizes, and Nordstrom tends to carry tons of longer sizes.
Good luck, and don't buy "XLT" just because the sleeves fit - when it bunches like hell around your waist, you'll curse yourself for the purchase.

I've had really good results shopping at TJ Maxx. They always have shirts that are "fitted" or athletic cut. I wear 36 / 16s, and when they are the fitted style, they fit me great.

Yes, I really wear a 36/37. I have freaky long arms (wingspan is longer than my height).
Saw some dude on ESPN last night - 7'7", 8'5" wingspan, size 28 shoe. Jeebus. Glad he ain't my kid.

Try Kaufman's Tall and Big off of Broadway and Hampden (across for the Surplus Store). Their specialty is the extended sizes that most det stores don't carry. Sam Kaufman, the owner, is a great guy too.

JC Penneys is your friend. I know that your size is an off-the-shelf item.
I wear a suit and tie 5 days a week, so I am practically a walking JC Penneys ad. The other mentioned places above are great to go to as well. For me, dress clothes are nothing more than a uniform... I want to look professional and nice, but still want to throw everthing in the washing machine and avoid ironing if I can get away with it.
I too have had good luck with Kohls.

I don't think 36/37 is all that weird, I wear a 36/37 too. In my case it's cause of my shoulders, but they seem to have lots of choices in 36/37 when I shop.

I'm 6'6", 205 lbs, and get all my shirts from Kohls. The only thing I don't like is I can't find any that are long enough. I wear my dress pants a little baggy and the shirts get untucked all the time.

I have looked at Kohl's in the past for shirts that are specifically "Tall" and have not found them there. That might be the problem.
