I think this is funny that it has gotten coverage on CNN. I have a half brother that lived with us when he was 16 and 17. My parents bought him a car and allowed him to do with it as he wished but, set rules such as no drinking. My mom found 40's under the front seat of it one day, along with grass and corn stalks stuck in the front bumper and grill, and took it away from him. She sold the car and he moved back in with his Dad on the other side of town. That didn't make CNN :D

Issue is that parents dont do much of shit as parents anymore. Good fer the moms. Think I'm glad every vehicle I've owned, I've paid for in one way or another.

at 19 the kid should be buying his own car... but since the mom was nice enough to get him one and he didn't follow the rules he actually got off pretty easy... I would have done much more...
