I joined:
Colorado Strobists (so I can learn more about strobes and lighting)
Denver Darkroom (cause that's where most of my classes have been).
I also regular visit and participate in Dgrin (SmugMug's forums); Digital Photography School and Digital Photo Academy.
I'm interested in joining some other groups and would appreciate it if you shared with me where you have had the best success. Thanks!

dang boy! How the heck do you keep them all separate? ;)
Which ones are your favorite and why?

I like em all for one reason or another. I also figure it can't hurt to be a part of all of them, to increase the odds of someone finding something of mine that they really like. I also find value in seeing how people capture certain images a certain way. I have found most people on there to be very polite and happy to chat about their pictures.
Don't know what you mean about keeping them separate...

Nothing about online photo systems shocks me anymore. Sad? Perhaps...

Oh, I searched for "Colorado" and came up with some group openly displaying strap-on photos. That was disturbing. Not nearly disturbing as the cup video.

I haven't run across any of those yet thank goodness. I've been home sick today, so all I could do was troll around on Flickr, run to the bathroom...troll on Flickr...run to the bathroom again..
eh...I'm sure you get the point.
