Is there a picture book version for those of us with a short attention span?

Thanks for the link. This looks very familiar to what we are doing on DR.

The project truck on DieselRam.com (98' 12V) will be pushing 1000 hp when completed. The truck on #2 Diesel should put out over 750 HP without the "other" help. It is expensive to do. We have over 14K in the motor (P Pump was 4800.00), a proto-type DTT trans that cost 10K to hold that kind of power, and the drivetrain will have to be reworked as well. So this shall be interesting when the first drive is completed on this rig. I have ridden in a diesel truck with over 700 hp...and that is very impressive to say the least. It took several weeks to wipe the grin off my face.

Man is that a duallie? What will you do to get that type of power to the ground?

Glad you appreciated the link. The interesting thing I found is that he advocated lowering compression ratio, and backing off on timing, in favor of overfuelling.... I've been told that diesels build the most power just under the point where they're crackling from timing advance (which of course is hard as hell on the engine), but this gent was against that.

Man I need time for the intercooler project!!!!

No, it is a 2500. It will be used for sled pulling. The owner has been in Iraq for the past 15 months. He just got back to Fort Hood, TX and is coming up soon to get it. The truck will go to FL.
We had to lower the compression as well. The pistons were machined .030 and coated. Worked out pretty good so far. The twins that are on this motor are pretty wild.
