The snow was good, just really cold. I've been up there the last two weekends and there is a good amount of snow. Iam staying at my house in vail so Iam riding all christmas week up there.

Do you ever ride the flat tops? Way better than anything Vail and Rabbit Ears have to offer.

I havent, are you talking the flat tops out in Grand Junction. I'am trying to check out a couple new spots this season so I'd be interested. Are there any big hill climbs there?

No, the flat tops north of Glenwood, as in really close to Vail. We either go straight north of Dotsero or go west of Glenwood and straight north of Newcastle.

The area is HUGE and there are big hill climbs to be found. It's my favorite area in Colorado with Grand Mesa (the area near Grand Junction) a close second.

I was talking about the flat tops.

There are a couple decent climbs on the Mesa though. I remember a couple off the main trail that goes between Alexander Lake Lodge and the one that blew up a couple winters ago.

I'll be riding nowhere anytime soon. My big sled has an electrical problem and I have no time to find it and fix it for a while.

Electric Mountain.. It's rebuilt now or so I heard. Thats one area I really haven't explored much. On a sled anyway.. Been all over creation with the Jeep in that area though..
