I need to learn how to tune my carbs

I have to rejet my mikuni tm40 flatslide carbs on my polaris sled. Can anyone briefly explain to me how to do this or know of a place on the net that has a write up?

Call a snowmobile shop. They should be able to recommend the correct jet size for your altitude. I've never taken apart a Mikuni carb but I would assume you just pull the fuel bowl off and unscrew the old main jet. It shouldn't be too hard

No, there's a bit more to it. There are multiple clip positions etc. that also have to be considered.

I can't be much help. I usually screw mine up and a buddy of mine sets me straight. I need to write the procedure down though, cause I never remember then next time I need to.
