It just seems to me that we haven't gotten a heck of a lot of snow this year.

Maybe my opinion is colored too much by last year's MASSIVE snows, but I don't think so.

I know compared to last year we're *way* lower but it even seems pretty low compared to average.

I just hope we get a sick month long cold snap in January that kills the Pine Beetles.

9News did a piece on snow pack - way below average across the entire state. Most places were <50% of average and a couple were 30% of avg.

But they said something to the effect of "don't worry, the weather pattern shows signs of changing in the next 2 weeks."

I'll believe it when it happens.

I was ready to hit up Winter Park for opening weekend. 14" and 4 runs. Think I'll save one of my 4 pass days for something a little more exciting.
