Winter bike builds, anyone?

I currently own two bikes... one needs a lot of work, so it can be sold this spring... the other needs some minor stuff.

the first one will need a new chain, some pretty good repair on the plastics, and a lot of little things here and there, mostly cosmetic...

My bike will need it's shift kit installed (I received it today), and a replacement handle bar, which the PO bent.

good thing I am insulating the shed where I work on my bikes!

any body else doing some work over the winter?

I will be putting my Duc back together after Christmas. I have too many other projects going on to mess with it right now but, after Christmas I should have a little time and money to get it road/track worthy again :D

Zixxer is getting a complete overhaul:

Complete mechanical overhaul (tune-up, valve adjustment...)
New fairings all around
Custom paint

I hope to have it at my mechanics place in the next week or so for the mecahnical work...then on to the shop for paint.

I did a pretty thorough tune-up when I bought my bike... complete carb clean, and synch. new spark plugs, cleaned factory filter(foam type). it ran so much better!

it was all pretty easy to do, but I really enjoy doing stuff like that...

I am not looking foreword to working on my 88 VTR250... that thing is a funky bike...

Oh I have done a couple of tune-ups and have a K&N filter...but haven't done a carb sync or the valves. And it needs a flush and fill pretty bad.

600RR is getting all the body work stripped off and getting a heavy cleaning, a new chain, tires, complete fluids change, air filter and a steering dampner.

I now have three bikes crammed into my little shed... SOMEHOW I have to work on all of them, two just need an oil change, one needs A LOT of cleaning, new chain, maybe a carb clean and sync, and some other random work so I can sell it this spring...
