just rented Call of Duty 4 and was wondering if anybody else has played it and has any tips or comments on it?

Played it last night...just another call of duty IMO...

Graphics are pretty sweet. It has a lot of the exact same sounds of CoD2 which is a little disappointing. But other then that, eye candy = good IMO

I haven't yet, but think I am going to pick it up. Some of the guys on Warhaus have it and have been playing it quite a bit!

Picked it up for PC last night on my way home, didn't play long, but damn it looks good.

*Sigh* looks like its the reason to upgrade the PC finally :P

MP bought it a couple of weeks ago for the XBOX loved it until the 5th hour then blam game over .. thought it was a little short but awesome graphics..tons of action though, put right up there with Gears of War!!

My only complaint about it is that i wish they would have made it a little more "cover" based...like the Vegas and Gears of War games. Crouching down or shooting behind cover trying to use a semi-tactical technique is kinda a tedious task in COD4. Ive done much better in it just running and gunning than trying to actually use cover.

I agree with this for sure no duck and cover mode..it was stand squat or lay.. no shooting around the corners :thumbsdown:
