Primm Valley. The middle of no-where it may seem, even though I-15 runs right through the middle of it. It's the last town in Nevada before you get to the Califoria state line....last chance to gamble, last chance for fuel before you start to cross the Mojave Desert heading west. Primm Valley, bought by Herbst, yes, you read that right. Herbst own the entire town.
CORR, Championship Off-Road Racing, closed course racing with stadium seating and fans can walk through the pits. This IS where its at ladies and gentlemen. $125,000 pro series trucks going head to head at 70 mph, over table top jumps, whoops, and around hair pin turns. Remember back to when you were a kid and were playing with your matchbox cars? That one track that you set up that had jumps and turns and bumps and obstacles that you raced your two favorite cars head to head on, smashing into each other, around the track....vrrrroooooom! That, ladies and gents, in real life is what CORR is like.

The roar of an 800 horse power engine, the smell of race fuel and dust... I had seen it on TV before, but this was amazing to watch in person.
Note: NBC Sports will be broadcasting a 90 minute CORR Cup Race nationally showing the Primm, NV Event

Here are some pics!
My hosts, Jim Holthus and Pistol Pete Sorhen (#2 TT) from Totally Off Road Radio (Skybox 7 media pass :D )
That's Jim on the left, Pistol in the mullet.
Cameron Steele #16 TT second from right; far right is Tim Sanchez from Dirtnewz.com

I'am there every day an watched them build it.It was interesting to see how much they did from day to day. The track took the better part of the month. The bleachers were up in 2 days all the dumpsters an porta pottys in a day an all the trees trimed. The finished product was done with a day to spare that i could see.minus all the little stuff that is last minute. The track did good on venues I was told but the casino an restraunt were just almost busssiness as usuall.
