Wasn't there a post here recently asking about Chat? :confused: I went to answer it and couldn't find it. Anyway, Chat appears in the navigation menu because we used to have it. We lost it when we lost the whole site in "the big crash". It was a very simple chat program that was just "ok". We then switched to the Chat service at Multicity but then they changed their business model and IMO they want too much $$ for their services. Chat has been discussed in the past and an IRC based server was prefered by the majority over the simple chat setup we had previously so I looked into those options. AFAIK they all require you to download something to use it, whether it's seperate software or some java code for your browser. I don't use chat anymore so I'm "out of the loop" as far as the prefered clients go. If you have a firm preference on chat clients then by all means share it so I can consider it. Otherwise I can dig up the simple chat program and at least get that going again.
