My wife wanted to turn back, but...
It was the first snow, and it was wet so it was perfect. A couple of the rocky parts were very slick, but we did ok.
Coming down on the top shelf road was a pucker spot!

My wife wanted to turn back, but...

I was up with a group in the spring and we ended up pulling a 3/4 ton Dodge off the edge of the shelf road. They turned and went the opposite way from the mine and slipped off the road, corner was a shaded and icy.
