I find after posting a reply that it takes me back to the thread but won't let me click "back" from the ms 6.0 browser to return to the body of threads. Let's say I'm posting in General 4x4 and reply to a thread, I must then go to the links on the left window to return to the message board. Is it me and my browser settings because it sure would be nice to go right back to where I left off in the column of messages. Especially if you're into pages 2,3,4 etc.

Try clicking "Back" 4 times quickly... that will skip it back to the original message board without re-posting your reply. That's the only way I know how to do it! I would be interested to know if there's another way as well...

John This is how the BB software is setup and how browsers work so there's nothing I can do to change it. By clicking Back in your browser it's doing what it's supposed to which is to take you back to the previously loaded page (the page which simply stated your reply was submitted). The BB software must return you to some point and currently it returns you to same thread you replied to (last place you were). If you'd like to get back to the topic listing page you can use either the forum links in the menu on the left or use the directory "tree" above (presented next to the Log Out option above). If you were on a different page within that topic list then you need to click on the page number to get back to that point. The only shortcut I'm aware of is similar to what Flexy suggested but a little cleaner. Instead of clicking the Back button on your browser click the dropdown button next to the Back button and choose a link a couple down from the top. You'll have to experiment to see how far back you need to go to get to the topic list you were viewing, Flexy may be right and it's the 4th one down? Only catch here is you'll be viewing your browser's cached version of the topic list and not the most recent (depending on your browser settings) so once you're back you may need to refresh the list. Unfortunately that's all I can suggest at this time.

Could you maybe add the directory tree to the bottom as well? I know most of the other BB's I visit have that & it sure is nice not having to scroll all the way back to the top to get to it.
