Carnage Boulder Sunday 10/14

What a slimy muddy mess! And damn fun to! We had myself, a couple guys from the shop, Mark and posse in a stock cherokee w/ welded rear diff, and Stu and Jessica in lifted Tacoma, Mike and Audrey in his basically brand spankin new JK, Slim and Shaun in there TJ's, and Tim in his Toyota Land Cruiser. We had a great time! Did a little winching here and there b/c of the mud. Seemingly simple lines became a little hairy due to the rain and mud. Its only the second time in 7 years i have actually seen water flowing down the creek. Will post up pictures as soon as I get the cd from Tims friend. She was a pro with the camera. I was to lazy to dig out my camera. Thanks to all that made it! It was a great time!

Carnage for the day:
me- put the new Rokmen stryker corners to work at the waterfall, blew the front driveshaft ujoint on the way home
mike-rubbed the hard top on a tree a bit, dented front left fender, dented oil pan, gas tank, etc. (get some skids!)
stu-busted hub cap....lol!
the guys in the cherokee- i'm pretty sure they slammed every panel, both rockers, basically the entire jeep on one rock or another. crazy bastards!
Slim- passenger side of body on the water right line, front left fender on the slick rock
Tim - just barely rubbed right rear quarter on a tree turning down the trail right before the slick rock.

Looks like Saturday was a good day to go. No mud! I hate mud! We met Chad06tjx there and had the trail to ourselves. We forgot a camera so no pic's, have a crumpled passenger fender as proof of trip. I need to clarify what "bump it" meant to my wife when she was on the waterfall...she made it! Fenders are cheap.

For a 2 door Rubi, 27,000-30,000 depending on options, plus $1500ish for the aftermarket front bumper and winch.
