I caught this image of this beautiful red fox hanging around the backyard of my BF's mountain cabin. I've also taken pics of doe and buck as well. Can't wait to see the bear that's rumored to roam the neighborhood too.

My two favorites. First, the buck. This guy is huge and partially lame. He's been hanging around my parents neighborhood for a couple years now.

As I was taking pictures, the guy just up and bolted. A couple seconds later, these guys wandered in.

Thanks. My parents have seen the bears before or since. The spot is about 40 yards from the picnic table. The bears appeared and I just took a couple more pictures and slowly backed into the house. :D

He was running about 100mph the entire time I saw him, so I couldn't get a decent picture, but he looks like a little weasel or ferret or something. He was in Rocky Mountain National Park at about 12,000 feet (same area as the marmot).

These two showed up in our back yard / open space a few months back. We live in Morrison east of 470 so they were a bit lost. They spent a few days wandering the neighborhood and eating the neighbors crab apples. The dog loved them. I wish I had my tele lens at the time so I could get some better shots :(

My brother got this one back in May when we were down in Puerto Rico. The critter was gone before I got there :( He sat around and ate the mangos that fell off the tree.

Hey Nimirra, any post processing in that fox pick?

yep...I shot that baby in RAW so I had to do some post processing. I did some sharpening and I did some extra sharpening just on the eyes to really make them pop.

That damn gutter completely took up the bottom half of the image, so I had to crop it out as much as possible. I used Levels and a touch of red to take out the bluish tint on the white part of the fox.

Saweet! What lens did you use?

Thanks! I used a Sigma 28-70 2.8-4 Macro with a Kenko TelePlus 2x converter.

I took the picture at a friends place in Oklahoma a couple weeks ago. We threw a couple grasshoppers in the web and I just kept blasting away hopeing to get a good shot. Out of 50+ shots only got a hand full of good ones. This one is my favorite.

here are a few i took on our recent trip to disney world. i was using a simple 5mp digital that i bought for the jeep. i used to have a nicer sony but it stopped working for some reason. im not impressed with the new one and i hope to get a better one soon.
