WTH am I thinking???

Just submitted my application to the Community College of Aurora to start their photography program this Spring.

Me thinks head should be examined, but whateva!!!

My mom suggested it...I just hadn't looked at classes until today...I can opt to take 2 classes in forensic photography for crime scene investigations :D

If I wanted, I could get an AA through them, but I really just want to take a few select classes...will how many credits short I am when I take the classes I want and if I find a few others I want to take.

I am thinking about going back for my MBA. Just at that point in our lives I think (there are studies showing when people start thinking about going back).

Funny, I always said I would go back to school when I was ready to be a lawyer...kinda a bit off with that prediction.

Good for you Tiff! Ive always wanted to take some professional photo classes but never really had the time to do it. Im getting out of the Air Force in the spring and hope to have alot more time then. Id love to take one that focuses on the use of light more so than composition. I shadowed a photo-journalist a few years back for a few weeks and she taught me tons about composing a photo which i think i usually excel at fairly well, but her skills in light, exposure and color were quite lacking and it showed and hence why i usually have alot of photoshoping to do after i shoot! I usually have a good eye for lighting and color once i see it on a monitor, but i need some help through the view finder!! :D

Hey, once Im done with my MS here in December, Im going back next for an MBA. Hopefully next fall. :thumbsup:

I'd like to see those studies if you have links handy. I need to prove to the wife that I'm not crazy. I just need to figure out what I want to go for. There are too many choices at this point. MS in comp. sci, MBA, BA in biology, gunsmith...

Oh, and nice work Tiff. More education can't be a bad thing.

Ill finish my MS in comp sci here in December. Then potentially the MBA...

Yeah, I'm finishing two M.S. in July Mineral Economics/Petroleum Management, I'd love to goto school for something fun like photography. It's been such a great hobby would love to take steps to improve.
