they are really not close enough that i can hear the noise. They are actually about 600M from my back yard in the middle of a big field, but I want a new shop.

Oh, that's just the small part. The whole ceiling is being resurfaced, because it wasn't quite flat, and you could see small variances in it- fortunately that part is being covered under new home warranty. So they're scraping it, putting new mud in, leveling it, spraying texture, then primer and paint.

But, as we all know, when the wife is happy, EVERYONE is happy.
