Back Order hell just got ridiculous today.

So when you pick up a new ride you know you are going to need a few things for it. I know the traditional riding season is winding down for much of the state and nation but EVERYTHING I have tried to get for my bike has been on back order.

Here is the history and the funny part.
-Frame sliders-backordered....finally got them
-Clutch slider.....still back ordered
-Swing arm sliders/spools...back ordered...finally got them.
-Helmet......back ordered..got it last week (3 week wait)
-Shield for helmet still on back order, finally cancelled it because I found on in town.
-Riding jacket.....was at least only a 2 week wait.
-R1 gel seat still on back order

-Went to the DMV today to get my real plates and get rid of the happy tag .......THE STATE OF COLORADO IS OUT OF MOTORCYCLE PLATES.....Yes....that is right.....even my tags are now on back order:eek: :eek:

That is pretty funny. That makes me feel better Cole. Your experience here sounds like my life story and it makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one :flipoff2:

The state got plates in later yesterday and I now have my new plate. The lady at the counter was very nice and called me as soon as they came in.

I seem to remember Grand Prix having sliders for your bike, might be wrong, though. Why are you ordering a helmet? The aforementioned dealer, and Performance have a pile of nice helmets in stock.

Well I went from other sportbikes to the Valkyrie, just needed to get back on something I would enjoy riding.

I have the frame sliders now, just waiting on my clutch slider to get here.

I ordered the helmet because no one had what I wanted in stock. I also have 2 other helmets to use while waiting. Just wanted something new.

Good looking helmet. Since I crash on my head, I don't have a fancy helmet, just a plain color :D

hahaha... My other one is a plain black Shoei. Just wanted something more colorful since the bike is charcoal.
