Well guys Johnny Park was just a fun trip nothing much to tell.It was nice to do a trail and take it easy and just enjoy the mountions for what they are.
My bro and I ran across a few other rigs and a lot of atv's.
This was my first time out with my TJ and I loved wheeling it:D it's a lot different then the XJ.
Fun and simple sums it up.

Here I was getting excited that someone made a run in that area, and behold- NO PICS! How were the trees up around there? I'm getting married up near there next week, so I'm hoping the trees are looking good.

It's going to be in Allenspark actually- the Wild Basin lodge. Right off the road there...pretty close to where Johnny Park dumps out on the back side of the mountain.

You picked a great place. The lodge is within a short walk from our cabin. The cabin is across the river and by the stables.
I remember when the lodge was open to everyone not just partys and when they had the bear that lived out front.

If you're going to, book soon. We had to book almost a year in advance to get it for this time of year, and even then, we couldn't get it on a Saturday.

I proposed to my fiance up in Johnny Park a year ago next week. There is a spot where you can pull off the trail and climb up on the rocks and see the lights of Longmont.........really cool view at night!!
