Are trails pretty much always passable around there? Just wondering if I'd be able to hit some trails in Dec, Jan, or Feb.

TIA

Pretty much, I think I have been out there in Nov, Dec as well as January. I saw snow one time, but it melted very fast. The weather is better, maybe a little chilly, but nice and the trails don't have hardly any traffic on them. I love it during the winter.

Awesome. Thats REALLY good to hear. I'm going to be moving to GJ in the next few months and wanted to take some people on some moab trails when I get there.

We went last December and it was AWESOME.

We never saw another rig on the trails, never had to wait for a table at a restaurant and the hotel is only $29/night!

Only "downside" is you couldn't really start wheeling til 11 or so to let the frost clear on the north/shady sides.

There is a lot less traffic but if there has been a storm the trails may be impassable. There are still a couple now that are closed after a rainstorm 11 months ago. Wintertime weather can make it impossible. The other thing you need to consider is that there are many businesses closed in the winter. Just obey the signs and rules.
