I imagine halo 3 will eventually come for PC. Might take a couple of years though, halo 2 just came out for PC a few months ago.

dang walked into wally world, got it took it home and passed out. woke up this morning and played some online matches. Man it is fun! double spikers FTW!

Well I made it through the first two levels, and called it a night at ~3am. Hopefully Ill find time this weekend to finish. That is unless the baby shows up this weekend. :)

Got through the first two levels on my first night of play as well, and did a little bit of multiplayer.

Anyone check out the theater feature yet? That is pretty freaking sweet.

Is halo3 one of the games that MS has ported for both Xbox and the PC?

The Xbox 360 uses DirectX, so porting the games is fairly trivial from what I understand. I'm sure they'll wait a little while to do it, and it will only come out for Vista. My personal guess is they'll release it for PC shortly after Christmas. That way, all the kiddies will get their Xbox 360s for Christmas so they can play Halo 3 first.

I'm sure it will be way after Christmas. MS is banking on halo 3 to sell a lot of 360s, and they won't release it so soon to hamper that progress.

If the timing of the release of halo2 pc is any indication, it will take about 2 years or so for halo3 to reach the PC.

Um, Halo 2 just shipped for PC a few months ago for VISTA only... ;)

Oh, and I just finished it. The ending was ok, but not great. No back to finding skulls, armor, and a legendary play through.

In the Halo 2 days we used to have a group of 10 or so Colo4x4 people that would have Tons of fun in custom games!

Yea I thought venerator (the name) looked familiar. I used to by LCpl Meyers on Halo 2, ended up changing it to Cptin Obvious... I know there are a couple guys still on that play from the Colo4x4 clan, I still play with a few of them.
