Rampart Range Road camping

Hey all,

We are gonna venture out and run Rampart Range Road tomorrow. Curious if anyone has any recommendations as to good spots to camp. We are scouting out for good spots for winter camping where we can just escape for the weekends.

I've checked out Trail Damage and got a list of all the offshoot trails. Any of em worth running while we're out there? We are gonna be taking the North to South route and pop out in the springs.

Well, they close the gates in the winter, so you'd have to walk in.

Good point...I found that info on Trail Damage as well...Need to find somewhere to set up camp when the white stuff falls. Thanks!
