Going to CO Springs on the 29th for the XRRA race and was wanting to take the mother on a trail filled with colorful aspens. Anyone have any suggestions. Something mild would be best.

the drive up rampart to woodland park is good... there's also old stage road to cripple creek then back 67 to 24... also a good drive

Are those trails or paved roads? Doesn't matter. I'd actually prefer something paved so I don't have to take the Jeep. But it doesn't matter either way.

Just noticed today that the colors up on the mountain are really bright. The drive from Woodland Park/Divide to Cripple Creek is always a good one for fall colors. Slow winding paved mountain road and you can let mother loose on the slot machines when you get there.
