My latest project:
After sitting in a pile in my yard for a year I finally put together a big (for me) trailer. It also is a pretty good workbench/layout table.:D
I have about $300.00 total cash invested in it, including the close to 50 pounds of welding rod I used on it. I collected almost all the parts free.
Later it will be easy to upgrade to better axles too. It's not completely done but I can use it for heavy hauling now. All 3 axles have working brakes too.
Here are a couple pix.

Looks beefy, but also a little wide. What's your overall width (outside of fender to outside of fender)? How much does it weigh?

FYI, 8' 6" is max legal with for a ordinary flatbed trailer. I like the trailer though, it's pretty beasty. Hard to turn with 3 axles? i've never pulled anything bigger than a double, i'm just curious.

Thanks to this site I knew to look in the lexis/nexis CO revised statutes and I made its absolute widest point 101-1/2 inches. It weighs at least 3 tons but I need to scale it to know exactly.

It tracks pretty well on corners, but I am still overcompensating to be sure, it is way back in the rearview. I can't tell much difference from a tandem axle trailer.
I used it as a cutting table today.

Down side to Tripple axles is that you run through tires like a mad man if you are turning her hard.

Can you see your place driving through fairplay? Thought I saw that trailer parked but maybe not

Not unless you take a turn off the highway. I did bring a 79 Chevy PU home on it a few weeks ago.

I still need to get out there and see your ENTIRE collection before you have to start crushing it.

Too late, 53 vehicles went bye bye in September, but I have more than that left. All the better stuff. :)

Thats a mini truck topper. Definitely stuff. More than a few toppers have been known to fly off trucks driving through South Park and sit in fields for weeks. Know what I mean, Vern?
