Curious if there is snow on the top. Looking to take a family friendly group of newish wheelers up there (Saints John) this Sunday. Trail goes to about 11K feet (Red Cone is near by and same basic elevation that is why I ask).
Anyone?

We will be trying to work on Radical again, Ranger or not this time. There is a chance we may have to stop traffic depending on what we have to do with the big rock. Jut an FYI

Are you talking about the one on the shelf road that is partially blocking the road?

I fit around it in a full-size. I would NOT try to go over it.

Just fyi,
Red cone goes a bit higher than 11k, I think the top is about 12.8k +/-
That extra 2k makes the weather a tad nastier too.

Still, it is supposed to be nice around here this weekend, so weather shouldn't be an issue.

I know that but thanks. Red cone is 12,801 accoding to the sign at the top. ;) The point was really that if Red Cone was passable then Saints John would be passable. :P (Since more people here tend to go to Red Cone.)
This picture was taken at the top of Red Cone in 1999. This was the last wheeling trip I took my dad on before his stroke:(

Thanks for the info. I don't think we will be crossing your path. If we do we will say high and maybe help a little. Keep up the good work.
