Montrose guys got quick questions

It has been several years since I have been to Montrose to wheel and I want to make sure I don't get into places I am not supposed to be. I know I can find SND and Calimity with out any trouble but I don't remember exactly how Cactus and Die Trying were laid out. Send me an e-mail or PM if you would like so I can discuss it with someone familar to the area. We will be hitting montrose on our way back from Moab on October 11th and 12th (thursday and friday)

we couldnt find s/n/d, but 1.topless,2.dt, and 3.cactus are left to right as you drop down into the canyon from rim rd i beleive,you would take a right and then the trails go off into the ravines to your left numbered as i have them, and clamity is closed in the middle so you have to go drop in around the top area to get to the 2 exit routes, but the lower loop and ravine are open, and that has signs about where not to go,hope that helps, i'm sure someone who knows more will chime in, there isnt anything marked out there, and we had a map from mcphersons but it is still vague

It looks like there are 2 trails that drop down to the bottom of the ravine to the north from Rim Road and I wasn't shure which was which. Being there during the week it will be hard to have someone show us around and I don't want to end up in a thread here about being on an unmarked closed trail cause from I remember there are no signs and trails everywhere.
We plan to run Cactus and die trying FYI.
