21 road

[Carrie]

Mr. Gutwrench (orange flamed buggy), Bauer (white xj), XJ Flex (blue xj), Bill (big ol red YJ on 40's) and myself (little red YJ on 37's) headed up for some fun on 21 road today. The weather held for the most part until carnage corner where it downpoured for a few, and we decided to call it a day. The total carnage for the day was ALL track bar related. Bill ripped his track bar mount clean off the frame..most likely from his adventures in Rangley the day before. XJ Flex bent his into a Taco shape...most likely from letting Wallly spot him down 6' drop right before the alcove where he stood it up on the front end with 4 guys on a tow strap crying like school girls to keep him from going over...and finally me, who ripped roughly 4" of my track bar mount clean out of my frame, right about the time my drivers side bump stop tore out of the coil bucket mount. Regardless, it was a good day, and Wally and Mr Gutwrenchh got to play with Lee's new portable welder for a while in an effort to get Bill's track bar somewhat attached so he could get off the trail.

i can answer that... he trailers it a lot, and doesn't drive it around as a DD much. pretty sure he's still got his mustang for that... :cool:

Crying like school girls, hey??? :o It was great wheeling with you guys and meeting Henry. Had fun. Hadn't seen Bauer for a coons age. I did learn something observing Wally; if one comes to a nasty looking obstacle, and Wally says, "don't worry, I've seen Cherokees on 33s go over it," its best to take the bypass. Ask XJ flex.

Will it is not a DD but is also is not a trailer queen I have had no issues with overheating with the power plant. We did the vents in the hood just in case but have not seen any difference. Stays at 210 even when we were in Moab on the trails all day it never over heated.

screw the bypass it was fun seeing everyones faces after back on all fours it was a group holy S#$T!!!

Oh and the carnage did not stop there someone was looking out for me this weekend. Besides the almost rollover-flop when I was checking out the trailer this morning noticed the safty chain was broken and the pin to hold on the hitch was broken to. what a weekend. great to meet everyone hopefully I can figure out how to post some pics:beer: :flipoff2:
