Had a great trip to Rangely with redcj7. Several of the locals came out to show us around. Great people. They have added several new areas to the wicked trails already there. In my opinion Rangely is the best hardcore wheeling in Colorado. Several pics from trip.

We're going to join their club. Hope to wheel there often.

I'm not worried about haulin your XJ out. Its a good rig and you know how to drive. However, at Rangely anything is possible.

It was a great time. Thanks for your welder and Wally's welding skills for getting that track bar back on long enough to get me out. Let's go do it again.

Wally's skills are under rated. He did a good job. However, his spotting concerns me a little.

Rangely is a different animal all together. Its more of a wheeling fun park than a trail. You sort of pick and choose where you wanna go. It sure is fun though. Last time it was a little warm, i'd like to go when its cooler. I ripped my rear traction bar off last time...but i cranked up the heat when i got back and its still on there.

I talked to Jeff in Rangely today and there is a big hoo-ha up there on the weekend of the 13th, so that would be a fun weekend to go, bbq and stuff going on out there.

Brian, we can go again, or you and Amanda and the kiddo can come to Rangely for the B-day. Jake, Sam and Dana will be there, and Zach, we could have a good Bday party at the top of the trail :)

I don't know how much the club is doing socially. They have been busy building trails, though. I decided to join to support what their doing and help out anyway I can.

The 13th local club members will be leading trails, and there are trails for all skill/preparation levels. It should be alot of fun. Although the event is targeted at the locals, the larger the turn out the better. I know the date won't work for everyone, but showing up will be a great way to support they're work and a great way to find all the trails. The BBQ is RSVP.
