Who else has been waiting for Halo 3 to buy a 360?

couldn't wait, was sitting in Iraq when gears of war came out so I went out and bought the elite 360 and that the day I got back... I figured I would be buying one eventually for Halo 3 might as well do when I did.

Not me. Gears Of War was plenty of reason to get one by itself. But I'll be in line for h3 when it hits shelves. I get to go to an exclusive Microsoft launch party on Monday night :).

Just got 360 two weeks ago in preparation for Halo 3. Beat Gears of War (from Blockbuster) in a weeks time.

My preorder of Halo 3 says it should be arriving October 2. Sure beats standing in line with all the snotnosed pimple-ridden geeks!

yea my plan is to go to a the same store I went to when halo 2 came out. I spent 20 minutes in line to get a copy and was back home in under 45 minutes... pissed the hell out of my friends sitting waiting for hours up at the game stop in fort collins... Hopefully it works out the same way this year.

Make sure you get one of the newer models with the better cooling heatsinks ;)

Ive had the legendary edition pre-order for almost a year now, and will be picking it up at 12, should be finished with the single player sometime the next day. Can't have it spoiled so Ill beat it in a sitting or two, then go back and play through on legendary. With some multi thrown in for good measure.
