You all saw the goats in the Radical Hill thread. How about some elk video?

They are all over around my house right now, 5 or 6 bulls, lots of cows and calves, bugling almost constantly. Some are even in the yard eating apples that have fallen off the tree.

Tie one to a tree, I'll be by during the Elk hunting season. I'd like the biggest bull, but I'm not picky. :D

I'll never forget the first time I heard that sound while camping, I think I was like 7-8. Boy did my Pops have some fun with me, telling me it was big foot and such!!:D

I wish I had elk running around my place. I did have these guys staying cool in the shade a couple weekends ago. I see having to source out plants that deer don't like once I start to figure out my landscaping plans. There were ten of these big boys hanging out around the house last Thursday night when I got home from work. I see one doe with twin fawns every morning at sunup too. We had muddy big cat pawprints on our propane tank a couple of weeks ago too along with dead dove feathers everywhere around them.

That's a sweet video and a really good looking bull. Since we're sharing, here's my parents back yards two weeks ago. The animals in the second picture chased off he animal in the first.

Nice! I'm jealous. All we get are stray neighbor cats, blue jays, and the occassional overweight squirrel. City life blows.

We go to Estes Park every fall for a weekend in a cabin, we're going back this weekend. Of course, the elk are thick as flies all over there, there's usually a bunch hanging around while I'm grilling steaks. This big boy was grazing around by our cabin last year. Pretty awesome sight. I made sure that we kept the garden between us so he didn't feel threatened.
